Home Sweet Home For Stewart

Even though Dillon Stewart is a member of Ptarmigan Country Club, the 22-year-old refers to RainDance National Resort & Golf, in Windsor, CO, as his second home.

The RainDance National part-time pro shop employee, and fifth-year senior at Oklahoma State University, utilized his knowledge of the course to capture the 87th annual Colorado Golf Association State Amateur on July 27-30, 2023.

Stewart holed a short birdie putt on the 72nd hole on July 30 to finish the weekend at 4-under (284 strokes) and win the distinguished event by one over Gage Messingham, Colin Prater, and T.J. Shehee.

The course was in top form during the week as only five players finished under par, compared to 26 golfers carding red numbers during the 2022 event held at River Valley Ranch in Carbondale.

The state amateur tournament is the first major event held at RainDance National, with many more on tap in the future.

Congratulations, Dillon on a job well done, and kudos to the RainDance National maintenance and pro shop crews!
